To all new scouts in Troop 1459.  We are very excited to have you!!!!

New Members: Each of you should have received an email from webmaster@troop1459.org with the Subject "Account created for Troop 1459 - Alpharetta, GA" - look for this email to find your log-in information. If you can't find this email check spam filters (on PC and also your internet service provider) before you contact us for help. To contact us for access/password problems use the <contact us> form in the navigation menu.

Tip: Once you log-in successfully - you can change your username and password to something you are familiar with and will remember. Do this by clicking on the "My Profile" link in top of the left column.  - See attachment below for Website "Quick reference" on layout and where to look for what information. Print this and keep handy in case you need help while getting started.

Please note that any changes you make to your profile via the website (specifically email address, phone#) does not automatically update your permanent Troop records in Troopmaster - you must submit a personal record information change form - look under Menu/section "[Files] Then [Parents/Scouts}"

Why Scouting?

Scouting's Bottom Line

What happens to a Scout? For every 100 boys who join Scouting, records indicate that:

  • RARELY will one be brought before the juvenile court system
  • 2 will become Eagle Scouts
  • 17 will become future Scout volunteers
  • 12 will have their first contact with a church
  • 1 will enter the clergy
  • 5 will earn their church award
  • 18 will develop a hobby that will last through their adult life
  • 8 will enter a vocation that was learned through the merit badge system
  • 1 will use his Scouting skills to save his own life
  • 1 will use his Scouting skills to save the life of another person

Zelle is the preferred payment option to send money to the troop

Zelle is the primary preferred way to pay for all troop payments to Zelle email:  treasurer@troop1459.org  

After you register for a trip on the Troop website, log into your bank app and look for a menu option to "Pay and Transfer" or "Send money with Zelle" to submit payment for the trip or expense.

Announcing the launch of the Troop's website to help Life Scouts (and their parents) work on their Eagle Projects.

The site covers ideas for projects, how to use the project workbook and templates, the Eagle Application, the Eagle Board of Review and Court of Honor, project examples and other resources.
